University of Vienna
September 20-21, 2024
This workshop is intended to address the development of research on historical-philosophical issues related to the philosophy, psychology, and logic in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with particular emphasis on empiricism, psychologism, logical empiricism (Vienna Circle) and analytic philosophy. Following the success of the annual conference Meeting of Studies on the Origins of Contemporary Philosophy (São Paulo, 2023) and the graduate workshop Ursprünge Zeitgenössischer Philosophie (Leipzig, 2023), our aim is to bring together and discuss new research on the topic and to deepen the existing cooperation between the working groups from Vienna (Austria), Leipzig (Germany) and São Paulo (Brazil).
