Purpose of the Report: Fellowship at the Vienna Circle Institute in Vienna summary of the activities and results
Duration of the fellowship: November 2019 and mid-January to mid-February 2020
List of activities:
1. Work in the Exile Library Otto Neurath, Vienna Circle Society
2. Research at the Literaturhuis Wien/ Austrian Archives for Exile Studies
3. Wrote, promoted and gave a talk about my work at the Institute seminar meeting. Title: Philosophical Minor and Marginal Figures: Using Rose (Rozalia) Rand's (1903-1980) Work and Life to challenge this traditional Distinction
4. With help of Dr. Josef Pircher, made a contact with Philipp Dittigner of Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften and agreed to publish a biographical piece on Rose Rand in June/July 2020 following the 40th anniversary of her birth/death.
5. Established connection with the Jüdisches Museum der Stadt Wien and looking for opportunities for the future collaboration
6. Agreed to take part in the now postponed conference organised by the Vienna Circle Institute and the University of Vienna
